Jars

I have these two huge glass jars that I haven't figured out what to do with but I thought of a great idea for this season.  They both are Santa.  If anyone has ideas for later I would be happy to hear them.
I think I am all caught up on my blog for now after doing a gazillion posts today.

Alarm clocks

We were looking at alarm clock options for Sadie and here are a couple of great ones.  No we aren't getting them.

Last day of school (for this year)

There was nothing but frosty's breakfast, parties, and movies at the elementary school the last day of this year.  Jarom and Elijah had a fun day.  I spent all morning with the first grade classes for their around the world party.  They are fun kids.   Now we are ready to really celebrate and be together as a family.

Faces

We have a selfie queen in our house.  She is one super gal.  I think she is the most photogenic even with funny faces.

AND we clearly don't know how to keep our tongues in our mouth.  Ha ha!

Misc combined activities

Both of our wards who meet in our building have been combing more activities together.  Cub scouts has been together for a long time due to the amount of kids.  Elijah was so excited to participate in a sort of play at this pack meeting.

This is one of our young women who is quite awesome.  She decided to shave her head which was a shocker for all but she is still cute as ever.  We were making items for the nicu.

Josiah piled on as much candy as possible at this activity with the young men.

Cute snowmen

Both wards met together for our Christmas party.  I am so wishing I had take pictures of the decor.  It was very well done with a town feel with stores, shops, a church etc made out of cardboard.

These ladies helped write names on buckets and bags for the kids so shop.

Winter concert

I have said in the past that it is so sad that schools can't have an actual Christmas program.  All music has changed to nothing about Christmas.  It was a cute program though.  I will try to get a video up of Elijah's part he did.
Elijah was very excited to acknowledge us.  I suspect he wasn't supposed to wave at all but we didn't help him by waving back.

Jarom didn't want to participate since he is a big 5th grader now.  He did a very good job.

book marked Christmas list

This would be our boy's Christmas list.  I had to laugh when I was finally able to sit down and take a look.  I do like being able to have quick link to them.

Thank you gift

Sadie babysat in November for our relief society activity.  The counselor in RS gave her this bowl full of full size candy bars.  29 to be exact.  She ended up sharing with the young women class presidency and her basketball team.

My dad's twin

The man in the background at one of Sadie's basketball game looked so much and acted so much like my dad it was weird.

Tree is up and ginger bread men

This cool dude along with his siblings put up the tree.  We decided to do ginger bread men again this year.  However we had three tries with the the ginger bread recipes.  In the end they turned out great.

Jarom at dentist

Jarom was hilarious at the dentist today.   This was his first time having anesthetic and nitrous oxide.   He had to have a stubborn baby tooth pulled in preparation for braces.   The gas really affected him for a while.

Rats nest and burning paper

Nathan and I got into cleaning mode with the shop and I found the lovely rats nest in the attic storage area.  There was dead dried up rat in that mess.  Yuk!  If you notice the stuff in that mess you will see wrapper remains of our 72 hour kits supplies.  GRR dumb rat.

In the process of the garage clean out we had a ton of paper to get rid of.  The boys quickly jumped on being able to start a fire.  Wow did we get an inferno going.

The Betta and The fish tank

We have had these big jars like forever and really haven't done anything with them except put change in one.  Well while Josiah was here...
