We took a last minute quick backpacking trip to Lena Lake. School already started and we figured we could squeeze it in. We left about 3 pm and had to get back by 10 am the next morning. It takes about and hour and a half to get to the trail head. It was a great trip. I will admit the next week it was rough because this trip caused Elijah to get behind in school.
