Rats nest and burning paper

Nathan and I got into cleaning mode with the shop and I found the lovely rats nest in the attic storage area.  There was dead dried up rat in that mess.  Yuk!  If you notice the stuff in that mess you will see wrapper remains of our 72 hour kits supplies.  GRR dumb rat.

In the process of the garage clean out we had a ton of paper to get rid of.  The boys quickly jumped on being able to start a fire.  Wow did we get an inferno going.  

Bag of chips

 Sadie and I came across this bag of chips and really wondered if it should be sold like that.  This might be a third of the way full.  

Broken toe

I am pretty sure I broke my little toe while tripping on someone's shoes.  It is still sore today 12-19-17.   It swelled and did some funny bruising in places it shouldn't have. 

Outdoor school

Jarom and I got to spend time with his 5th grade classes at outdoor school for three days and two nights.  This was the three days before Thanksgiving.  It was fun and quite an impressive place to have it.  The instructors were fantastic.

This was my group of kids I got to hang out with the whole time.  

this inside the tree house.  It rained so hard the second day that everyone had to get new rain gear by mid morning.  Luckily this place has a plethora of rain gear for kids and adults.  Everyone was soaked.

Meridian Temple Open House

We wondered if we were going to fit this little trip in or not.  I am so glad we were able to do it.  

We love the Mongolian BBQ place in Boise.  It is always a must whenever we visit there.  I think the white shirts on the boys was a bad mistake though.  Elijah came out the worst on that one.  Oh well we only had to attend the open house afterwards.  Ha ha!

This temple is beautiful and each of us was able to feel the spirit there.  I love that we can have opportunities to attend.

Another "necessary" stop was Krispty Kreme on the way out.

Who would have thought that the back up camera would be so fun.  I was backing in while they were making faces in the camera.  Silly boys.

Combined activity

We had all young men and young women at our house for an activity.  They climbed rope, made turkey's out of candy, and had a pie eating contest.  All so fun.
