We had a nice Christmas. We had lots of boxing happening. Jarom got his week supply of Nutella. Ha ha it might have lasted three weeks. Elijah had a super hard football building block set to put together. I love being able to have Christmas day to focus on Christ and my family. What a blessing to have a break from the every day run of the mill "Stuff".

Christmas events
This was the only pic taken at Jarom's band concert. It is so hard to get any good ones.
This was the last Cub Scout Packing Meeting. Elijah is bummed to be done but I think we will keep it as it is for now.
Frosty's breakfast has always been a highlight for all of the kids. I have been to many of them and have even eaten the nice breakfast provided but I don't know why.

This is the 3rd grade classes performing. They did a great job

Christmas outfit
Josiah and I were out shopping last week and he saw a guy wearing this outfit. The next store happened to have them. He loves to dress up and was so excited to find it. He wore it to the youth activity last night and two other boys ended up getting one too. All three of them wore it to school today. I suspect Josiah's future home will be filled with some crazy decor for all holidays. He is one fun kid and I love it.
Sadie Girl
This gal is super busy as of late. She is taking classes at the college. This is a choice all junior and seniors in high school can make. The major advantage is to get college credit and/or your associates degree while meeting all requirements for graduation. She is doing really well with school. She has missed a bit of the social aspects of high school but overall prefers the college. She is also involved in basketball. Practices are every day except Sundays and for game day. They have three games this week and she is doing awesome and is so fun to watch. She is a starting guard on the varsity team. This fall she registered to be a part of HEFY (Humanitarian especially for youth) and will go to Paraguay this summer. So she applied for a job at Old Navy so she can go on this trip. Her hope is to get lots of hours in during her three week Christmas break. She worked her first 8 hour shift on Black Friday and survived it. She also fits in ironing for others, piano lessons for a couple of boys in our ward, babysitting, taking care of our neighbors house when they are gone and working on a trio (piano, cello, and flute) music number with a couple of her friends for Sunday December 22. She is seriously amazing.
A needed family walk
One Sunday last month we took some time to go on a walk. It was so nice to be out spending that time together. By the way it is tough to get a good pictures of the four kids. I think Sadie has started to think if you can't beat them join them. She has some of the weirdest faces in these. Oh well. We also stopped by a creek that many salmon swimming up stream because its spawning season. It was cool to watch them struggle.
Veteran's day
The kids didn't have school so we put them to work of course. Their job was to stack the wood onto the rack's that Nathan put up so that is was finally out of the way. The boys got started and then Josiah's friends show up. I told them Josiah could go run with them as soon as he and Jarom finished their job. I really like these two boys. They jumped right in and helped.
Youth pinewood derby
The youth combined activity for November was a pine wood derby. I think this was the best activity we have had in a long time. Everyone was engaged and working on their cars.
