This girl is good to drive on the roads by herself.  She did awesome on her test.

A little outing

After having snow around for a long time (for here anyway) we decided we needed to go do something or we might go crazy.  We took the foot ferry over to the nearing town.  We haven't ridden the foot ferry in a really long time, it was so fun.  

We paroused through a second hand store.  We found all sorts of treasure we would have loved to of bought.  It is so nice that the kids are old enough to enjoy spending time looking through everything. 

We found this cool ancient phone.  Josiah had no idea how to dial on it.  Sadie figured it out after a bit.  Jarom didn't have trouble  at all.  It was fun testing them out on it.  

We hit the spin park (as we call it) before going back on the ferry.  

We called Nathan as we went by his place of work but we couldn't see him nor could he see us.  This is why Jarom was tearing up.  Ha ha!

We were looking so forward to getting these fries from a restaurant once we got back to Bremerton but had just closed for the day.  I guess they only serve the lunch rush.  So we remedied that by making our own at home.  Yum!

So Much SNOW

Monday morning February 4 we woke up to this and had school cancel.  Yep it takes that little amount of snow to cancel out.  

Fast forward to Saturday Feb 8.  We woke up to this.  School would have been cancelled if it were a weekday.  We had so much fun playing because we never get this much snow ever.   Little did we know that church would be cancelled along with school for the next week.  Nathan also got administrative leave off on Monday and Tuesday.  We very much enjoyed playing in the fresh snow.  

These are my people and I sure love them lots.  

We have the best sledding hill just across the street from us.  Not many cars traveled down the main road so it was perfect.

The hedge didn't really like the heavy snow so Nathan and knocked it off.

Once it did warm up a bit we wondered if we would get washed away with floods.
