Day 13 Thursday

At church on Sunday a lady that was also visiting said we needed to go to The Baked Bear.   She said you may want to share an ice cream sandwich though.  She obviously didn't know our family.   It was yummy!  Josiah ended up buying himself another one cause they were so good.  We were able to keep one cold enough to bring back for Nathan.

Jarom playing leap frog while we walked along the boardwalk at Pacific Beach.

More beach, sand, and body surfing.

Nathan and Sadie

I think we enjoyed the beach so much that we wanted to stay longer in some ways.

Elijah wanted to go out in the deep waves too so I held on to him when they came up on us.  He thought that was pretty cool.

Day 12

The morning was spent with homework again.  Poor kids!  Then we decided we needed to see all the shops along Orange Ave on Coronado.  We had to spend the rest of our money some how.  We visited the over priced candy store again.  I think we went broke on candy purchases.  Ha Ha! It's not like we bought a ton either.  We also played at the local park.  It a good day.

World's smallest jaw breaker

Elijah and his creation of candy blocks that fit together like Legos.

The fun swing that kept them busy for quite some time.

Tuesday Day 11

In the morning we had to scramble and get things packed up to move to another place.  The kids did more homework while I got things together.  We had to move because someone else had already reserved the place we were staying in.  This other place is nice but it doesn't have a view or beach  to look at out but we still went to play in the ocean anyway.
This was us getting settled into the new place.  I am so glad we don't have regular TV, Dish, or Direct TV or whatever else is available at home.  They could have stayed here all day watching programs they never see but they also wanted to continue playing.

Out to the beach we went after lunch.  This time we got involved in making a huge turtle together.  Sadie worked on the babies while the rest of us piled sand up as fast as possible for the mamma turtle.

We weren't able to get it done before the tide rose and destroyed it.

We couldn't go back to the apartment till it was all gone.  Yes, there are lots of pictures to see the digression of the turtle.

Nathan and I attended a session at the temple that night.  This a neat temple inside and out.  It was fun for us to be there.

Our terrible selfie shot.

Monday Day 10

On Memorial Day we divided and conquered per say.   Nathan, Sadie, and Josiah went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter while the rest of us did other fun things.

Jarom and Elijah built a tent and then watched Angry Birds cartoons while I washed clothes etc.  They were perfectly happy doing this instead of going to LA with the others.

In the afternoon we stopped by a cool candy store and bought over priced goodies.  We also bought 2 body boards so we could go play in the waves.   These two boys were perfectly happy and so was I with a bit more relaxed day.

Nathan, Sadie, and Josiah enjoyed their time at Universal Studios.

This is a replica of Diagon Alley.

It is hard to see the moving picture of Sirus Black.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

The sorting hat that put both of them in Ravenclaw.

One of the rides they went on.

A place called Lard Donuts sold these donuts.  All three of them shared it.

Hogwarts train

The Betta and The fish tank

We have had these big jars like forever and really haven't done anything with them except put change in one.  Well while Josiah was here...
