A job made easier????

Every Fall we have cedar fronds to deal with.  Apparently Nathan and I have always done this process wrong because our boys came up with a much better way to dump those fronds in the truck.

Halloween 2018

From pumpkin guts, truck or treat, trick or treating and school parades I would say we had a great Halloween.

This might be Josiah's favorite part.

Sadie's friend Ali joined in on the fun since she hasn't carved a pumpkin before.

At our combined ward trunk or treat Elijah found his twin Indiana Jones.

Face painting that our young women did.

These two were so cute I couldn't pass up taking a picture of them.  Their mom serves in young women's with me.  She made their costumes and they were perfect.

This is as creative as it gets for our trunk.

Ready to go trick or treating.

Loads of candy with lots of regular size candy bars.

The elementary school always has a parade for all classes. Each class parades through the whole school.

Family visit

We had a great time with Katie and Steve and their boys.  We love when family visits but also know we are very much out of the way.   We went to the undersea museum and then to a park to check out what we could find on the beach.

Our beach is all barnacles but it sure is fun to find critters and such and it always a big hit with the boys.   This orca statue is also a big hit.

The shoes are off and they are ready to get their feet wet and only their feet.  Ha ha!

They were wet up to their waists and having loads of fun.

Old folks sitting and watching.

Crab finds are the best.

YWIE

Young women in excellence went really well this year.  We decorated around the theme with trees and leaves everywhere.  I love working with the women and young women.

LIL indy jones

applesauce makers

I have some great workers at this house even if they don't really like the idea of doing it they helped make applesauce this weekend.

They were racing to get done so you can see apples flying out of the strainers.

1st Grade fieldtrip

Elijah's class went to the pumpkin farm last week.  It was more than wild times at this fieldtrip with 66 first graders in all.  They ran and ran and ran through the hay maze.

Elijah's chosen pumpkin.  He liked the stripped ones.

The hayride

My group of kids.

The Betta and The fish tank

We have had these big jars like forever and really haven't done anything with them except put change in one.  Well while Josiah was here...
