Sunbeam

We had to take a moment to soak in the sun.  It was a chilly day and the sun felt so good and I thought they all looked so cute.

The young women either painted or carved pumpkins at this activity.  

Halloween

The kids carved pumpkins and dressed up for our ward Halloween party.

Josiah and his creative costume.  He said too many people said he looked like phantom of the opera so he wasn't  impressed and opted for another idea for a party at a friends house.  

Sadie took these two trick or treating.  It was nice to stay home. 

Ape Caves

The scouts camped over near St Helen's last month so that they could go through the ape caves the next day.  Our young women wanted to go so we took a few of them down the morning of.  Elijah and I got left behind to go through the caves a different way because of this river crossing.  I didn't feel comfortable about his crossing it and I didn't really want to anyway.  Well we went the other and planeed to meet them part way through.  I took Elijah and a few other kids in with me and we didn't meet up with anyone since we went the wrong way.  Luckily ours was a dead end so we went back the way we came.  In the end a few of the youth missed their turn off out of the cave and continued where we had gone.  It took a little long to collect everyone but all were found.  It was a cold fun day.

Elijah's driving

The grandkids love to drive the golf cart at my dad's.  Elijah got to experience the fun the last time we were there.  I was laughing but maybe more stressing while riding with him.  He did a great job.  I did notice that some major concentration was happening on his part since his tongue was sticking out so I took some pics to for proof.  Little did I know that the photographer had some of her own concentration going.  Ha Ha!  He is cuter though.    

Helping Grandpa

I love when my dad puts my kids to work.  This was a quick service for one of the people he minister to but we had so much fun.  I didn't get a pics from the actual work but the ride in the trailer was the best.
