Christmas 2021

We decided to pick out a live tree for Christmas this year.  It was so fun going as a family to the tree farm.  (not quite like going to the mountains but it worked)  Thankful that Sadie has pictures of this occasion.  The big disappointment for this particular tree was that it didn't smell.  What is the point of having a live one if it doesn't smell.  Oh well we enjoyed it anyway.

 

GONE

 This is a sad post because a few months ago I lost everything that was on my external hard drive because it was damaged.  Years of photos gone. Years of journal entries gone.  Anything else that was important gone.  Back up your stuff to more than one place people or it will be gone.  This was written 5/22/23 but posted for Dec 2021 just so I can remember that I am missing pictures from here on out.  Sadie will probably have some pictures that I can use.

The wind was blowing really hard one day and the trampoline looked like it was going to blow away.  I put our tether ball stand on it and it worked like a charm.  

Nathan's parents were so overrun with walnuts so I got 16 quarts of them put in my jars.  Walnuts aren't fun to crack.

Surprise

We went to Logan to surprise Sadie.  It was so fun to do that.  The drive down was so pretty and it was fun to have all four kids together for a couple of days.  Nathan didn't get to go with us.

The limb is down

There was a limb in our cedar tree that I have wanted gone so we finally tackled it.  This gave the boys and Nathan a chance to use the hand saw.  It was quite fun.  I am still astounded at how much yard waste we take from our place each year.  

 

Halloween 2021

Elijah wanted the skelleton lights in his room and I am not sure how he slept with those on.  Oh well it made his room look cool.
