Oct 14 I returned from church not feeling so great. I went to bed early that night and felt even worse the next day. I had fevers and then coughing all week long. I had never felt like this before that I can remember and it lasted way too long. Nathan went to work a bit late all week long so that I could sleep. I was thankful he could do that. I was hopeful that nobody else would get it but Thursday rolled around and Jarom came home from school feeling tired and chilled. Josiah was so tired. I kept both of them home on Friday. After school on Friday Sadie promptly went to sleep for 4 hours. She didn't feel any better when she woke up. I still wasn't feeling very good but was somehow was able to get some applesauce canned (I had had the apples for two weeks already).
Jarom was out on being able to go on the scout camp out that weekend. He was bummed but there was no way he could go. Josiah went as he seemed to be feeling better. Upon Nathan's and Josiah's return from camping on Saturday Josiah was much worse. He shouldn't have gone. On Sunday we sent Nathan and Elijah to church on their own while the rest of us stayed home keeping track of temperatures and dosing off. By Monday I felt better but not super. Sadie, Josiah and Jarom stayed home from school all week long being miserable and watching movies. Nathan got a sore throat and Elijah stayed home one day because he threw up but otherwise some how those two didn't get bronchitis like the rest of us. On Saturday we poured concrete (read on another post about this). Sunday we took Josiah in to the doctor because he was so lethargic. His bronchitis turned to pneumonia. Sadie felt okay enough to go to school on Monday. I kept Jarom home one more day. Josiah ended up missing two full weeks of school. So starting Oct 14 to Nov 4 we were in bad shape around here. We still have some coughs going but nothing like what we did have. I guess it was our turn since we haven't been sick in a few years. This means that we can go another few years right?
